SUR/FIN Certified Training Course Deadline Approaching

May 29 is the last day to register for the AESF Foundation–certified training courses at SUR/FIN, which takes place June 16–19 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

The course offerings consist of the following:

1. Electroplating & Surface Finishing, Monday–Thursday, June 16–19 (Optional CEF Exam: Friday, June 20)
Instructor: Fred Clay, CEF-4

2. Electroless Nickel Deposition, Wednesday–Thursday, June 18–19 (Optional Exam: Friday, June 20)
Instructor: Don Baudrand, CEF-2, CMfgE

3. Environmental Stewardship Course (NEW!)
Attendees may choose from:

Part I (Wastewater Treatment), Monday–Tuesday, June 16–17 (Optional Exam: Wed., June 18)

Part II (Pollution Prevention), Wednesday–Thursday, June 18–19 (Optional Exam: Friday, June 20)

Entire Four-Day Course (Parts I & II), Monday–Thursday, June 16–20

Course fees are as follows:

Four-Day Courses: $1,250 (members); $1,550 (non-members)

Two-Day Courses: $650 (members); $750 (non-members)

Exam fees: $125 (members); $250 (non-members)
