American Finishing Resources Establishes Stock Hook Division

27 June 2010

Chilton, Wis.-based coating specialist responds to consumer demands for additional products and services.

Matt Kirchner, CEO of American Finishing Resources, LLC, said the decision to stock paint hooks reflects emerging consumer demands. “This addition is really a response to repeated requests from our coatings removal and fixture fabrication customers,” Kirchner said. Specifically, he said customers wanted the ability to procure hooks and hangers without incurring exorbitant shipping and delivery charges. American Finishing Resources operates a fleet of tractor trailers throughout the Midwest, enabling the company to deliver stock hooks directly to qualifying customers and thus avoid the excess shipping cost that would otherwise be charged.

“What we learned from our market study was that oftentimes the shipping and handling costs charged by others in this market approached or even exceeded the price charged for the hooks themselves,” said Doug Pietrowski, controller.  “We saw an opportunity to save our customers some money, so we created this new division.”

According to Kirchner, stock hooks provided by American Finishing are manufactured under the same exacting specifications that the company uses in fabricating engineered paint line fixtures. American Finishing's fixture fabrication division is registered to the ISO 9001:2008 standard.

Companies interested in purchasing stock paint hooks from American Finishing Resources are encouraged to contact the company at (920) 849-7738 or online.  Stock Hook pricing and ordering information can be found on American Finishing website.
