INCERTEC Expands Custom Plating Operations to Mexico

Fridley, Minn.-based finisher now poised to better service California clients.

INCERTEC, a specialty plating, metal finishing and engineering solutions company based in Fridley, Minnesota, announced today that it has expanded its operations to Mexico by purchasing the assets of CRS Aerospace in Empalme, Sonora, Mexico.

The expansion will allow INCERTEC to provide cost savings and geographical efficiencies to customers in the aerospace, medical device, electronics and connector industries.

“In the industries we serve, precision is critical,” stated Tim Meador, CEO and president of INCERTEC. “By adding this location, we can provide manufacturers doing business in Mexico the same consistency, quality and delivery provided by our U.S. location.”

In addition to companies with operations in Mexico, INCERTEC expects to serve the California market as well as U.S. clients with multiple divisions who currently work with different plating partners across the country.
Initially, the new INCERTEC plant will provide secondary processes such as NADCAP-certified anodizing types I, II and II, Chemfilm, cleaning, passivate, paint and NDT (non-destructive testing). Within the next year, the new plant will also offer the same processes as its Fridley location, including plating on plastics.

Protecting the environment is integrated into all of INCERTEC’s processes, and the Empalme plant will utilize the same state-of-the-art water treatment system as the Minnesota location, allowing them to return clean water to the earth.
