BASF Announces Kaolin Price Hikes

Increases of up to 7 percent slated for hydrous and calcined products.

Effective immediately, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase kaolin prices globally for industrial applications.
The price hikes for kaolin—which is used in paints to extend titanium dioxide and to modify gloss levels—will be dependent upon the product, with increases up to 7 percent for hydrous and calcined products.
