Precision Dip Coating Relocates to Waterbury, Conn.

Waterbury native moves brings coatings business back home from North Haven.

The Waterbury Republican American reported that Gary Santoro, a Greater Waterbury native and Kennedy High School graduate who started his own dip-coating company in North Haven five years ago, is bringing that company home.

Santoro is in the final stages of moving his company, Precision Dip Coating LLC, from its original home, a 5,000-square-foot facility at 78 Rebeschi Drive in North Haven, to a section of the 35,000-square-foot Jay Mar building at 176 Chase River Road, according to Ronald J. Pugliese, the city's economic development director.

Precision Dip Coating will occupy a 12,000-square-foot section of the Jay Mar building, the former home of the Jay Mar Syrup Factory. Santoro said he signed a five-year lease on the property that includes two five-year options.
