Enthone has appointed new regional vice presidents for its European operations.
Mr. Lammert de Boer was recently appointed Regional Business Vice President, Central and East Europe. In addition to this new role, Mr. de Boer will continue as Vice President Global Marketing - Enthone Performance Coatings. The dual role is designed to assist Enthone Europe to better serve and grow its customer base by providing an integrated focus on business, sales and marketing activities within the Europe region, while strengthening global marketing activities.
Mr. de Boer reports to David Crimp, Executive Vice President, Cookson Performance Materials - Europe for all commercial and business activities relating to the Europe region, and to Mr. Rick Reagan, President, Enthone, for all global marketing activities.
“This combined role will provide added focus to serving Enthone’s major and strategic account base throughout Europe," Crimp said. "Mr. de Boer is empowered to rapidly bring positive change and innovation to Enthone and our customers.”
Mr. de Boer has been with Enthone for more than 20 years, having held increasing management responsibilities in technical service, sales and operations. He is a graduate of the Business School Netherlands, where he earned a master’s degree in sales and marketing, and a bachelor’s degree in business economics. Mr. de Boer is fluent in Dutch, German, English, Mali and Spanish.
Mr. de Boer travels extensively worldwide and will continue to be based out of Europe. He resides in The Netherlands and enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking with friends and family.
In related news, Mr. Emmanuel Colchen was recently appointed Regional Business Vice President, West Europe. Mr. Colchen is responsible for ensuring customer value creation at key and major accounts, as well as enhancing Enthone's presence and profitability throughout the region. He will also continue to serve in a dual role as General Manager, Enthone France, a position he has held since January 2009.
Colchen’s career includes more than 18 years in the chemical industry. He joined Enthone in 2008 as the Commercial and Marketing Director, Enthone France. Prior to joining Enthone, Colchen served in both business development and account management roles at Kraton Polymers and Shell Chemicals.
Mr. Colchen holds an executive master’s degree in business administration from the Dauphine University Paris (and Montreal University, Canada) and also participated at a high-performance leadership program at Harvard Business School in the United States. He also earned a degree in chemical engineering at the University of Technology Compiegne, France. Colchen is fluent in French and English.
Mr. Colchen resides in France and enjoys sailing, mountain hiking, and tennis, as well as travelling with his family.
