DuBois Chemicals Joins EPA’s Climate Leaders Program

DuBois Chemicals, a global provider of sustainable cleaning solutions for safe, high- performing facilities, is participating in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Climate Leaders program, thereby demonstrating its continued commitment to environmental improvement and providing sustainable cleaning solutions. By participating in Climate Leaders, DuBois has pledged to reduce its corporate-wide GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions and has passed the requirements of entering the program.

Climate Leaders is an EPA industry–government partnership that works with companies to develop comprehensive climate-change strategies. Partner companies, such as DuBois Chemicals, commit to reducing their impact on the global environment by completing a corporate-wide inventory of their GHG emissions based on a quality management system, setting aggressive reduction goals, and annually reporting their progress to the EPA. Through program participation, companies create a credible record of their accomplishments and receive EPA recognition as corporate environmental leaders.

"We are pleased to join the other Climate Leaders in helping to reduce global climate change,” said Andrew Law, director of environmental health and safety at DuBois.

DuBois Chemicals, whose focus is to develop innovative programs that reduce their customer’s total cost of operation, specializes in the following areas: water/wastewater treatment; metal surface finishing/paint pretreatment; transportation/equipment cleaning products; maintenance/general purpose cleaners; and specialty lubricants/coolants/oils/additives.
